– A groundbreaking global job fair centered in Daejeon
– Global companies, global students—the world is our stage
SolBridge International School of Business announced that it successfully held the 4th SolBridge Global Job Fair (SJF2023: SolBridge Job Fair 2023) on Thursday, November 9.
Since its establishment in 2007, this was the fourth edition of the job fair. Over 30 global companies, including large corporations, mid-sized companies, and startups from countries such as Korea, the United States, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, and New Zealand, visited Daejeon to meet top talent from SolBridge, whose students hail from over 70 countries.
Several high-performing companies that participated last year and reported high satisfaction returned again this year. Companies that offer global services or frequently engage with overseas clients and institutions often face high costs, time constraints, and risks when hiring talent abroad. However, the SolBridge Global Job Fair offers a major advantage: these companies can meet, interview, and hire outstanding global talents—who have completed a globally standardized English-taught business curriculum at SolBridge and are fluent in English, their native language, and Korean—all in one place.
Notably, many of the participating students had received career consulting from professional consultants. Their résumés, cover letters, and self-introduction videos were uploaded on the job fair website (solbridge.kr), enabling company representatives to efficiently review candidates in advance—a technological convenience that was highly appreciated.
As keynote speaker, Pil-Hoon Son emphasized, “It is highly meaningful not only for Daejeon but also for the entire country that global companies have gathered here to meet SolBridge’s global talent. This is an era where our youth can spread their wings across the world,” encouraging both the participating companies and students.
Dean Joshua Park stated, “Following last year’s success, this year’s fair has once again strengthened the SolBridge brand both domestically and internationally. This has created a virtuous cycle of attracting outstanding students and producing high-quality employment outcomes. With our innovative technology and continuous education, we will continue to host job fairs that satisfy both companies and students.”
SolBridge International School of Business holds AACSB accreditation—granted to only the top 5% of business schools worldwide—and follows a U.S.-style curriculum conducted entirely in English. The school boasts an 80% foreign faculty rate, and 70% of its students come from over 70 different countries.
