South Summit Industry & Energy Bilbao Spain 2025
celebrates its fourth edition in Bizkaia to boost innovation, digitalization and industrial sustainability

  • The event, co-organized by South Summit and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, will take place on November 26 and 27 at the B Accelerator Tower and will bring together leaders, startups and investors from the energy, mobility and Industry 4.0 sectors. 

 

  • The agenda will feature two days focused on the future of the energy transition, sustainable mobility and industrial transformation, with international speakers and Building Sessions designed to foster collaboration among attendees. 

The fourth edition of South Summit Industry & Energyco-organized by South Summit and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, will return on November 26 and 27 to the B Accelerator Tower (BAT), transforming Bizkaia into a key meeting point for the entrepreneurial ecosystem linked to energy, mobility and Industry 4.0. 

The event will bring together business leaders, investors and startups from the industrial and energy innovation ecosystem to discuss the opportunities of energy transition, the challenges of industrial digitalization and the role of innovation as a driver of sustainable growth. The program will feature inspiring keynotes and panels on the future of industry and energy, along with Building Sessions where attendees will co-create solutions to real-world challenges, boosting collaboration among key players. 

Among the confirmed speakers for South Summit Industry and Energy 2025 is Mateo Salvatto, a 26-year-old Argentinian entrepreneur and founder of Asteroid Technologies. The startup has developed Háblalo, an app used by more than a half million people with disabilities. Salvatto was recognized by MIT as a Humanitarian Innovator of the Year, is co-founder of Grondplek and Apgreid, and author of a bestselling book on social innovation and inclusive technology. His session will explore how technology can transform traditional sectors while generating a positive impact on society. 

Another leading voice at the event will be Vicente Pascual, co-founder of Cabify and current Vice President of its Logistics division. Linked to the company since 2012, Pascual has held key positions in operations and ride-hailing and has played an essential role in establishing Cabify as one of the leaders in sustainable mobility in Europe and Latin America. At South Summit Industry & Energy 2025, he will share his experience developing technological solutions that drive efficient and decarbonization in urban transport and will reflect on the role of entrepreneurship in building a responsible, connected and people-centered mobility model. 

In addition, Reda Kechouri, Director of Machine Learning & AI Trainline, will offer insights into how AI is transforming the railway sector and how technological innovation can accelerate the shift towards smarter and more efficient infrastructure. Verónica Bermúdez, founder and CEO of Berbetin and cleantech innovation expert, and Fernando Casado, co-founder and General Partner of Inclimo Climate Tech Fund, a fund focused on high-impact climate technologies, are also among the standout names on the program. 

South Summit Industry & Energy will also feature a full cultural and social agenda designed to foster networking and strengthen connections among participants. On November 26, attendees will enjoy a guided tour of the Guggenheim Museum, including a cocktail inside the museum. The second day will begin with visits to two innovation hubs in Bizkaia and will close with a networking lunch to share ideas, experiences and future collaborations in a relaxed atmosphere. 

For the fourth consecutive year, South Summit Industry & Energy will act as a bridge between Bizkaia´s solid entrepreneurial ecosystem and key international players from the industry, energy and mobility sectors, reinforcing the region´s position as one of Europe´s most dynamic innovation hubs.
